What? Tech Talk & More is a social group that gathers to learn about technology that makes life easier for people with disabilities. Participants share experiences and life hacks with their peers every 4th Friday of the month. Assistive Technology-themed topics vary and all meetings are free. RSVP required. New participants are welcome any time.

When? Monthly on the 4th Friday, 1:30-3:00PM CST (2:30-4:00PM EST), except when otherwise noted.

Where? Currently only meeting via Zoom but will resume in-person gatherings as soon as possible. Zoom details will be provided only to those who RSVP as to protect the privacy of all participants.

Who can participate?

Participants are primarily blind or individuals with low vision and professionals who work for/with the blind community.
Participants are primarily located in Mid TN, but any person anywhere is welcome to attend virtually via Zoom

An RSVP is required to join the group and participate in each meeting. Details on discussion topics are posted on the Empower Tennessee Facebook page and emailed to returning participants prior to every meeting.
