FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Who can attend this retreat?

Any females who are caregivers to someone with special needs or disabilities. Any mothers or mother-figures are welcome. The person you provide care to can be a minor or adult and can have any kind of physical, intellectual, or developmental disability.

What if I can’t afford the $10 ticket?

We have set a $10 ticket price to cover food, but if that is not doable for you, email us. We wouldn’t want that to be a barrier for anyone. info@sumnecountyspecialneeds.org

Will care be provided for my child/loved one?

Unfortunately we are unable to provide that at this time and location but will consider this for future events if needed.

What are your other plans for the Caregiver Connections program?

This is our second women’s retreat. We’re exploring the possibility of having one just for men in 2026. If you know a man who would be interested in planning or attending, let us know!
