Dear Friends of Pathfinder,

Happy New Year! I hope 2026 is off to a great start after an enjoyable holiday season!

A new year is often associated with new beginnings that lead to new pathways forward. At Pathfinder, we continuously strive to create new pathways forward for Tennesseans with disabilities and their supporters, helping them achieve new beginnings through the services and resources we provide. In 2025, our Information & Referral Assistance team provided one-on-one support to more than 1,700 individuals seeking resources and help with accessing services. As part of those efforts, our Community Support Coordinators provided vital assistance to more than 580 individuals whose native language is not English.

Pathfinder’s website serves as a premier hub for disability information and another pathway for users to find resources, services, and support in their communities. As information constantly evolves, so does our website. We continually update existing information to maintain its accuracy and add new information. In 2025, we added 104 provider listings to the directory of services and 178 events to the community calendar on our website. The Pathfinder Resources Guide is a helpful tool for navigating resources on our website by specific topic, and we added Aging Resources and IDD & Mental Health (Dual Diagnosis) Connections as two new topics in 2025.

A new year also includes changes in policies that affect access to services. As your guide on the path to community resources, Pathfinder communicates important policy information through our newsletters, social media, webinars, and the personalized assistance we provide to individuals seeking support services. Thus, we encourage you and others to stay engaged with us by following Pathfinder on social media, sharing our newsletters, attending our webinars, and contacting us for help navigating a pathway to resources, support, and services.

As we embark on a new year, we reaffirm our appreciation for the valuable partnerships that support Pathfinder’s mission. We remain committed to helping people with disabilities, their family members, the community, and professional support partners find and access resources, support, and services available to meet their needs.

Large black text at the top right reads “MEGAN HART.” Below, a paragraph introduces Megan Hart as the Program Director for Pathfinder, describing responsibilities such as managing and developing the program, overseeing daily operations, building collaborative relationships with state agencies, and developing trainings to improve access to disability resources for Tennesseans. At the bottom, a torn-paper design in red highlights the word “Specialities:” in white, followed by “Program Management, Training Development, Grant Reporting” in smaller white text.

Together, we are creating opportunities that remove barriers, elevate voices, and open doors so everyone can thrive. This year, we look ahead with purpose, collaboration, and hope for what we can achieve together.

From all of us at Pathfinder, thank you! We wish you a year filled with happiness and good health!

All the best,
Megan Hart, M.Ed., NCC
