Tennessee Disability Pathfinder offers an extensive library of disability and senior care resources available at DisabilityPathfinder.org.

The Tennessee Commission (TCAD) on Aging and Disability’s Community Resource Guide is a helpful resource for those who may counsel older adults or adults with disabilities on quality of life issues and the changes that accompany aging. The guide covers a selection of 14 topics, providing talking points, important issues for consideration, and contact information. It’s a good place to start a conversation.

Tennessee Disability Coalition is working to bring together seniors and adults with disabilities in Tennessee to help break the barriers causing social isolation and loneliness. The goal of the new program is to link individuals and their caregivers to projects and resources to help combat social isolation amongst adults with disabilities. To do this, they will establish affinity Facebook groups, an interactive text message check-in system, and an equipment lending program. Tennesseans will have the opportunity to connect with people with disabilities across the state, nation, and world through TDC social events.
If you know anyone that would benefit from this connection, please have them complete the survey online here.
Download the pdf or text version of the survey and email it to us at: jennifer_m@tndisability.org or call (615)515-8623.
