Volunteer This Holiday Season with The Salvation Army
Looking for a way to give back and make a difference? The Salvation Army Nashville has several opportunities to help families in need during the Christmas season:
Volunteer Roles:
- Angel Tree Mall Booths (Nov. 7 – Dec. 5): Assist donors in adopting angels, receive gifts, and ensure proper tagging at Coolsprings Galleria and The Mall at Green Hills.
- Toy Field (Dec. 9): Help collect and organize toys at Nissan Stadium and load trucks for distribution.
- Angel Tree Warehouse (Dec. 1 – 13): Sort, bag, and tag gifts, assemble bikes, and organize items for families.
- Angel Tree Distribution (Dec. 16 – 18): Greet families, locate gifts, and assist with loading vehicles during drive-through pickup.
Shift Times:
- Mall Booths: Fridays & Saturdays (10 AM–8 PM), Sundays (Noon–6 PM)
- Warehouse: Monday–Saturday (9 AM–12 PM, 1 PM–4 PM)
- Toy Field: Dec. 9 (6 AM–7 PM in shifts)
- Distribution: Dec. 16–18 (8 AM–5 PM in shifts)
Age Requirement: Volunteers must be 16+ for warehouse and distribution; younger volunteers can help at mall booths or Toy Field with adult supervision.
