Dear Friends of Pathfinder,

Self-advocacy is a skill that is important to me personally and professionally. When I was teaching Special Education, self-advocacy was one of my top priorities for my students. I am passionate about teaching self-advocacy skills because it gave my students a voice to express what they need or want. It gave them a sense of empowerment which is so important to foster.

Personally, I have seen the positive impact self-advocacy has had on me. I have learned how to use my voice to be my own advocate whether it is my health, relationships, or unique needs. It helps me make sure my voice is heard and I feel supported.

At Pathfinder, we deeply value self-advocacy, and it is at the core of the work we do daily. We want others to be equipped with resources and information to help them feel empowered and equipped. By reaching out to Pathfinder, you are using self-advocacy skills and allowing your voice to be heard. Our team takes time to listen and make sure your needs are being heard. We want to support you in the best way we can, and we are on your team.

Your voice is needed and impacts so many people. Never stop speaking up for your needs because our community is stronger when you advocate for yourself.

Thank you for giving us the opportunity to help support you.

All the best,
