It’s officially National Disability Employment Month! However, the state of Tennessee has already been celebrating since July because we’re celebrating 10 years of Purpose, Progress, and Partnership to advance Employment First efforts in Tennessee!
With it being a milestone year, we just have to celebrate during Disability Employment Month and might as well continue throughout the rest of the year, right?! Improving employment outcomes for Tennesseans with intellectual and developmental disabilities statewide is a big deal! So, we’re shining the light on the state of Tennessee as we celebrate, 10 years of Employment First!
Check out these videos of current and former members of the state’s Employment First Task Force come together to celebrate milestone achievements, the collaboration that has happened between agencies, families, advocates, and employers, and the work that’s ahead to ensure all Tennesseans with disabilities can reach their goals for work.
