Spotlight Partnership: Pathfinder Joins Little Blue Theatre for All Smiles

Graphic featuring the phrase “Partner Spotlight” in light script lettering on the left side, with a small compass icon integrated into the text. On the right side, the logo for Little Blue Theatre Company appears in bold blue lettering, accented by an illustrated gold kite with a looping string. The two sections are divided by a curved white and blue design element.

This March, as we focus on how the right information helps people move forward when next steps aren’t clear, Pathfinder is excited to share a new community partnership that reflects that same spirit of guidance, clarity, and steady support.

Pathfinder is partnering with Little Blue Theatre Company for their debut production, All Smiles, a joyful, interactive performance designed specifically for children ages 0–6. The show runs March 13–22 at Centennial Performing Arts Studios/Black Box Theatre in Nashville.

A Performance Built Around Real‑Life Feelings

Promotional graphic for the Little Blue Theatre production All Smiles. The background features a vibrant cloud of swirling colors—pink, purple, blue, and orange—blending together like paint or powder. Centered on the image, the title “All Smiles” appears in large, rounded white letters designed to look like connected pipes. At the top, a white bar contains text reading “A sensory-friendly show about big feelings | Perfect for ages 0–6.” At the bottom, the dates “March 13–22” are displayed, along with the Little Blue Theatre logo in the lower right corner. All Smiles is not a quiet, sit‑still theater experience. It’s intentionally designed as an interactive sensory experience, welcoming movement, sound, stimming, flapping, and exploration. Children help characters navigate emotions like excitement, anxiety, disappointment, and bravery, mirroring the big feelings young children experience every day.

The show uses color, sound, and gentle interaction to bring the story directly to young audience members, especially those who engage best through movement and play.

Why This Partnership Matters

Little Blue Theatre’s inaugural production was created with community collaborators and built to support young children as they learn to understand and navigate emotions. Their mission centers on creating theatrical experiences for and with young people, and their Spring 2026 production of All Smiles was developed in partnership with Autism TN and the Neurodiverse Community Access Network.

This aligns closely with Pathfinder’s daily work. Families often reach out to us after trying to make sense of unclear instructions, outdated information, or conflicting options. The heart of All Smiles mirrors that need for clarity: helping children take complicated feelings and turn them into something they can understand, one step at a time.

Find Pathfinder On‑Site

During the All Smiles performance dates, Pathfinder staff will be present at the theater to share resource information, answer questions, and meet families attending the show. We’re proud to support a local production that emphasizes connection, understanding, and practical tools for navigating everyday challenges.
