Flip for Function: Adaptive Gymnastics in Nashville
Flip for Function is a Nashville‑based program offering adaptive gymnastics for children with disabilities by combining occupational therapy principles with movement and play. Founded in 2019, the program was created to address gaps in recreational options and focuses on meeting each child’s individual needs rather than using a one‑size‑fits‑all approach.
Using gymnastics equipment adapted for different abilities, Flip for Function provides child‑led experiences that support motor skills, confidence, and enjoyment of movement. The program currently serves more than 100 children, with continued growth as interest increases across the region.
